After a whirlwind awards season, we’ve reached the end!
The 96th Academy Awards went down at the Dolby Theater in LA, with Jimmy Kimmel back as host.
“Oppenheimer” stole the spotlight, nabbing seven awards, including Best Picture, Actor, Supporting Actor, and Director.
“Poor Things” also had a good night, grabbing four awards, with Emma Stone scoring her second Oscar for Best Actress.
“Barbie,” despite its eight nominations, only clinched one win: Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell’s original song “What Was I Made For” (marking their second victory in the category). However, a memorable highlight of the evening was Ryan Gosling’s rendition of “I’m Just Ken,” adorned in a bedazzled pink suit, accompanied by numerous other Kens.1
